BDO at 70: Living Faith Church Commissions Borehole in Adamawa

The leadership of Living Faith Church has commissioned a hand-pump borehole in the Yolde Pate community, Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State. This project is part of the legacy initiatives honoring Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel.
As part of the activities marking Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo’s 70th birthday, the church commissioned the borehole to celebrate his impactful contributions to society.
The hand-pump borehole, situated at Living Faith Church Yolde Pate, will serve the entire community, which has long been without access to clean drinking water. The initiative honours Bishop Oyedepo’s dedication and fulfillment of his mandate to serving both God and humanity.
While commissioning the project, the state pastor of Living Faith Church, pastor Victor Samaila emphasized that the borehole symbolizes hard work, dedication, and the celebrant’s commitment to selfless service. He urged the community to take ownership of the facility and protect it for future use.
Pastor Samaila also wished Bishop Oyedepo more years of fruitful and impactful service in good health and strength, stating that the project represents hope, life, unity, and selflessness.
Resident pastor of Living Faith Church Yolde Pate, Pastor Juneul David Mark, and project coordinator,he commended the initiative, highlighting how it will provide much-needed relief to the community.
They noted that Bishop Oyedepo has always been dedicated to helping others, and the borehole is yet another testament to his outreach.
One of the community leaders, Dennis Kwagga, expressed his deep appreciation to the church’s leadership for selecting their community.
He mentioned that the community had struggled with water supply, and the project came at a critical time.
Kwagga also congratulated Bishop Oyedepo on his 70th birthday, praying for continued good health, wisdom, and success in his service to God and humanity.
In his remarks, Deacon Dr. Herbert Hanawa,the project coordinator noted that Bishop Oyedepo’s greatest desire is to serve humanity and bring millions of souls to the Kingdom of God.
The borehole project, he explained, is part of the church’s ongoing efforts to support communities in need of clean and hygienic water.
Additionally, hand-pump boreholes were provided in Yolde Pati Yola South, Garaha, Hong, and Demsa Local Government Areas, further extending the church’s magnanimity to other communities in Adamawa.
