Police Investigate Alleged Abduction, Forced Conversion of Minor in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has launched an investigation into reports circulating on social media regarding the alleged abduction and forced conversion of a minor, Georgia Miracle, in Jambutu, Jimeta-Yola.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the police confirmed they had not yet received an official report on the incident but assured the public that efforts were underway to ascertain the facts and ensure justice prevails.
The Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, urged all parties involved to remain calm and allow the legal process to take its course.
“The Command assures the public that a thorough investigation will be conducted to uphold the rule of law,” the statement read.
The police have called for cooperation from all stakeholders as they work to determine the authenticity of the claims and take appropriate action.
