Adamawa State Police Command to Inaugurate National Police Day on April 7

The Adamawa State Police Command has announced plans to inaugurate National Police Day on April 7, following a presidential directive to honor the dedication and sacrifices of police officers across the country.
This annual event, according to the statement issued out by the command, aims to strengthen community relations and foster public trust through engagement and humanitarian activities.
The Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, also extended an open invitation to community members to participate in the week-long celebration, which runs from April 2 to April 7, 2025.
The initiative, as made known by him, will feature a variety of programs designed to enhance police-community collaboration and promote social responsibility.
Key activities for the event, as enumerated by the commissioner, includes free medical service outreach , sanitation and cleanup of public spaces, town hall meeting with critical stakeholders, school outreach , and walkathon for strength and partnership building.
Commissioner Dankombo Morris expressed enthusiasm about this landmark event, emphasizing its role in promoting public trust, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and celebrating the contributions of police officers to society.
