The Kogi State Police Command has graduated officers of Course 7 from its ongoing in-house Refresher Training Programme, aimed at boosting operational efficiency and professional conduct among personnel.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony held in Lokoja, the Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, charged the officers to uphold professionalism, commitment, and improved service delivery in the course of their duties.

He emphasized the importance of mental preparedness and weapons handling in sustaining the Command’s fight against criminal elements across the state.

Dantawaye praised the dedication and resilience displayed by the officers during the one-week intensive training, noting that their performance is a positive indicator of better service delivery to come.

He further urged the officers to apply their newly acquired knowledge in their respective areas of deployment.

The Commissioner also commended ACP Abubakar Umar, Commanding Officer of 37 PMF Lokoja, for effectively coordinating the training, as well as the instructors for their commitment to capacity building within the Command.

He announced that the next batch, Course 8, is scheduled to begin training on Monday, May 12, 2025.
