Adamawa:FASA assists inmates of Correctional Facility with hygiene material

The Adamawa state polytechnic Female Academic Staff Association (FASA) in Yola has extends it commitment to render relevant assistance to inmates of the state correctional facility with some hygiene materials as part of their annual community service outreach.
FASA President, Mrs. Esther Musa Awosanmi, highlighted some major objectives of the outreach, stressing it beyond just providing material support; but a heartfelt gesture of empathy and inclusion.
She pointed out that by standing in solidarity with those in correctional care, FASA is reinforcing the vital role of dignity and compassion in fostering societal progress and rehabilitation.
Our correspondent report that hygiene materials which was assisted and presented to the inmates includes toiletries such as detergent,soaps and sanitary pads, others are Izal, medication for everyday necessity just to mention few.
According to FASA, the gesture is aimed at targeting basic environmental sanitation and hygiene needs as well as uplifting the dignity of those who are incarcerated.
The adamawa state command Correctional Facility expressed their gratitude to FASA upon receiving the items commend FASA for humanity driven community positive change and advocate priorities for development project which will promote social and other inmate welfare.
The association pledges to establish program towards enhancing social justice and equity throughout the wing of Adamawa State.
