Adamawa Polytechnic, Correspondents’ Chapel Strengthen Media Partnership

The management of Adamawa State Polytechnic has pledged to deepen its collaboration with the Adamawa State Correspondents’ Chapel as part of efforts to foster stronger ties between the media and the academic community.
This commitment was reaffirmed during a courtesy visit by the newly elected chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, Ibrahim Kado, who led members of the chapel to the institution.
Speaking during the visit, Kado praised the Polytechnic for its achievements, particularly in academic reforms and infrastructure development.
He assured the institution of the media’s continued support in highlighting its successes and promoting educational development in the state.
“Our visit today is to reaffirm our readiness to work with the Polytechnic as partners in progress. As journalists, we are committed to highlighting the institution’s milestones and supporting its mission to advance education in Adamawa State,” he said.
In his remarks, the Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic, Professor Mohammed Toungos, expressed gratitude to the Correspondents’ Chapel for its longstanding support.
He described the relationship between the Polytechnic and the media as strategic and mutually beneficial, emphasizing the importance of effective communication in achieving the institution’s development goals.
“We see the media not just as observers but as partners in our journey to deliver quality education. We welcome this renewed collaboration and look forward to more impactful engagements,” Toungos said.
The Rector also announced that the Polytechnic would continue offering scholarships to members of the chap∆ wishing to further their studies at the institution.
