NUJ Adamawa Congratulates Governor Fintiri on Best Performing Governor Award

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his recent recognition as the Best Performing Governor in the North East by TV Africa.
In its 2025 assessment of governance across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, TV Africa ranked Governor Fintiri as the top-performing governor in the North East, commending his administration’s strides in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and urban renewal. The media outlet described Adamawa State under Fintiri’s leadership as “the shining light of the North East.”
The NUJ, in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Abdullahi Ibrahim, and Secretary, Kissinger Bukar, praised the governor’s commitment to inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and sustainable development through the Fresh Air Initiative.
Describing the award as “well-deserved,” the Union urged Governor Fintiri to continue his developmental efforts for the benefit of the people of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
