Yola woman celebrates birth of quadruplets, calls it a miracle

Joy and gratitude filled the Modibbo Adamawa University Teaching Hospital, Yola, as 32-year-old Roseline Dolaosho shared her remarkable story of giving birth to quadruplets—three boys and a girl—marking what she described as a “divine blessing” ahead of her child’s first-year celebration.
Speaking in an exclusive interview at the hospital, Roseline expressed overwhelming gratitude to God for what she called an extraordinary gift.
“I really do not know how to express my gratitude to God for this great blessing. To me, it’s a miracle. In a few days I should be celebrating my one-year anniversary, and today I am glad to be a mother of four children in a year,” she said emotionally.
She encouraged other women awaiting similar blessings not to lose hope, urging them to remain steadfast in faith.
“Never give up on God. Keep trusting Him; He will surely answer,” she added.
Her husband, Mr. Olushola Joseph Dolaosho, also expressed appreciation for the birth of the quadruplets, describing it as a divine privilege.
“I thank God for His favour. He has given me the privilege to be a father to these children. I am not afraid of the economy because the same God who gives children will provide for them,” he said.
The children’s grandmother, Mrs. Amina Simon, also shared her excitement, thanking God for the addition to the family. She noted that while there is a history of twins in the family, the arrival of quadruplets was unprecedented and deeply joyful.
“I have always prayed for this kind of blessing in the family. Today, my daughter has been blessed with four at once,” she said.
Hospital staff at the Modibbo Adamawa University Teaching Hospital described the delivery as rare and successful, noting that both mother and babies are in good health and receiving postnatal care.
