Adamawa State government has assured National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members of security in their places of assignment during their service years.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri gave the assurance at the passing out parade of the 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream two Corps Members at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Damare in Girei local government.
The Adamawa State Governor, who was represented by the Chief of Staff Government House, Professor Maxwell Gidado explained that life of Corps Members is paramount, urging them to be security conscious at all times and to always avoid dangerous places and social vices.
Fintiri applauded Corps Members for fully availing themselves of total commitment during their orientation course.
He urged them to replicate it in their places of primary assignment.
According to him, the good people of Adamawa State are ready to welcome them, hence the need for corps members to be good ambassadors of the scheme and the country at large.
The governor therefore congratulated the NYSC at 50 and the Corps Members leaving the orientation Camp.
The scheme Coordinator in the state, Mr. Jingi Denis urged the Corps Members to always sustain the spirit of patriotism, hardwork and resilience imbibed during the orientation course.
He also stressed the need for employers to mentor the young Nigerians properly to enable them develop their potentials.
Denis therefore called on stakeholders and government authorities as well as traditional rulers to give due encouragement to corps members posted to their communities.
