53 students of the Modibbo Adama University, MAU, Yola have graduated with first class honour this was unveiled during the 28th Convocation Ceremony.

MAU has successfully graduated 5,545 students, 4282 in Bachelors Degree,comprising 53 first class , 1,143 second class upper, 2376 second class lower, 682 third class and 28 pass degree.
Speaking at the 28th convocation ceremony in Yola on Saturday, Prof. Abdullahi Liman Tukur, the Vice Chancellor of the University,noted that his 5yrs as the VC has been impactful.

Speaking at the convocation ceremony The Chancellor, Okuku Adiaka III, the Paramount Ruler of Obot Akara local government area, Akwa Ibon State observed that the success recorded was not only for the graduating students, but a great achievement for the management and staff of the university.
He encouraged the graduating students to live up to expectations, especially in the current challenging moment, by working very hard towards the development of the country.
In his remarks, Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri, who was represented by his Deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, congratulated the graduating students for their hard work to attain such a feat.

He calls on the graduates to prepare for proper hunt and face challenges ahead of them with bravery.

Meanwhile,the overall best student Akinyobi Moses Uchena hitting 4.85 points noted that his hard work pulled through the success and he also uses the privilege appreciates his course mate for supporting him to achieve the great honor.
