NUJ Adamawa Inaugurates Newly elected Correspondents’ Chapel Executives

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Chapter, has inaugurated the newly elected executives of the Correspondents’ Chapel.
During the election, Ibrahim Kado of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) emerged as the Chairman, while Aslem Nuhu Kyauta of AIT was elected as Secretary. Other officials include Golfa Francis of Voice of Nigeria as Vice Chairman, Ibrahim Abubakar of Plus TV as Treasurer, Onimisi Alao of The Nation Newspaper as Assistant Secretary, Talatu Maidawa of NAN as Financial Secretary, and Joseph Adanu of New Telegraph as Auditor.
In his inaugural speech, Chairman Ibrahim Kado expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to run an inclusive and transparent administration. He called on members to support him in strengthening the chapel, emphasizing that leadership is a collective effort.
“I will ensure that every member is carried along and given an equal opportunity to contribute to the progress of this chapel,” Kado assured.
The inauguration marks a new phase for the Correspondents’ Chapel, with expectations for improved professionalism and unity among journalists in Adamawa State.
