Adamawa Police Command Strengthens Ties with Journalists

The Adamawa State Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to a strong and collaborative relationship with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Chapter.
This development follows a courtesy visit by the NUJ delegation to the State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, psc(+), at the Command Headquarters in Yola.
The delegation, led by the NUJ State Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Didan, met with the Commissioner to reinforce the existing partnership between journalists and the police, with a shared goal of promoting peace, security, and accurate information dissemination.
During the meeting, Comrade Didan highlighted the importance of continued synergy between the two institutions in maintaining law and order.
He pledged the Union’s support and cooperation with the Police Command in ensuring a safer Adamawa.
In his remarks, commissioner of police,Dankombo Morris expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the journalists of the Command’s readiness to sustain and improve the existing rapport.
He emphasized that collaboration with the media is vital for effective policing and the overall development of the state.
The meeting concluded with both parties expressing a mutual commitment to peace, progress, and the public good through strengthened cooperation.
