Adamawa Police Promote 59 Inspectors to Assistant Superintendent of Police

By Ojoma Yusuf,Yola

The Adamawa State Police Command has elevated 59 inspectors to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in a ceremony held at the state police headquarters.

The decoration was supervised by Commissioner of Police Morris Dankombo, represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Investigations, Hamzat Tambai.

In his remarks, Tambai commended the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for recognising the hard work and dedication of the officers.

He urged the newly promoted ASPs to view their elevation as a call to greater responsibility and a challenge to uphold professionalism, discipline, and police ethics.

Speaking on behalf of the promotees, ASP Ibrahim Gambo expressed gratitude to the IGP, the AIG in charge of Zone 3, and Dankombo for the recognition. He pledged that the officers would justify the confidence reposed in them by working diligently to protect lives and property and maintain public safety.
