NUJ Adamawa Mourns Journalists Killed in Gombe Road Accident

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of six journalists who lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Gombe State.

In a condolence message, the NUJ Adamawa State Council extended its sympathies to the National President of the NUJ, the NUJ Gombe State Council, the management of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Gombe, the Ministry of Information, as well as the government and people of Gombe State over the unfortunate incident.

The council described the deaths as a painful loss to the journalism profession and the country, noting that the deceased were dedicated professionals whose contributions to the development of the media industry would be deeply missed.

Signed by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim, and the Secretary, Comrade Kissinger Bukar, the NUJ Adamawa State Council said it stands in solidarity with the families of the deceased, their colleagues, and the entire media community in Gombe State at this difficult time.

The council prayed that Almighty God grants eternal rest to the departed souls and gives the bereaved families and loved ones the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
