โAdamawa State Police Command has successfully arrested three suspects in connection with reported cases of shop breaking and theft at Palluja Market, Jimeta-Yola North local Government Area.

โThe command spokesperson SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje detailed to newsmen in a press statement in Yola.

โThe arrest followed reports received fromย shop owners at the Doubeli Divisional Headquarters, where they complained of unauthorized access into their shops and theft of valuables. Acting swiftly on the complaints, operatives of the Command attarched to Doubeli Division swung into action and, after a thorough investigation, apprehended three suspects identified as:-

โBabangida Bello (a.k.a Bangis), 17 years . Gambo Abubakar, 25 years.ย Abbas Yusuf, 35 years, all residents of Samunaka, Nassarawo and Demsawo of Yola South and North local government Areas respectively.

โPreliminary investigation revealed that the suspects were in possession of a bunch of keys which they usedย to unlock several shops at Palluja Market, from where they carted away various items.

โItems recovered from the suspects include: 36 mobile phones, phone accessories, 32 pairs of clothes, solar lights, Bunch of key, padlocks, and other valuables.

โThe suspects have confessed to the crime and are currently in police custody as investigation continues.
โThe Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐ ๐๐, has directed that a discreet and comprehensive investigation be conducted to ensure all those involved are brought to justice. The suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
