The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, has sympathised with the family of a woman who was shot dead by a police officer.
CP Afolabi, in a statement by the command’s spokesperson SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, extended the command’s words of comfort and sympathy to the deceased family.
The Police Boss acknowledged the command’s cordial working relationship with the good people of Adamawa State.
According to him, the command has apprehended the Police Seargent identified as Aliyu Yusuf, and that he is currently in police custody.
CP Afolabi Babatunde has also directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge Criminal Investigation Department(CID) to take over investigation and ensure law takes it course.
