All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yemaltu-Deba local government of Gombe State has reaffirmed the expulsion of the Senator representing the Central district, Muhammed Danjuma Goje.
The party also suspended the Member representing the area at the House of Representatives, Yunusa Ustaz also for anti-party offence.
Goje was last week expelled by his Kashere ward in Akko local government for alleged anti-party activities.
Addressing the media on Tuesday, secretary of APC in Yemaltu-Deba, Haina Hina described the alleged inglorious role of the former governor Goje as unwanted and disgusting.
“We commend Goje’s Kashere ward for expelling him from our party,” he said adding that the party in Yemaltu-Deba is also investigating Sen Goje.
“Since we are part of his constituents, we shall also investigate him and met out adequate sanctions if found guilty,” he added.
Meanwhile, the party endorsed Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for what they called his developmental strides at making dividends of democracy available for the citizenry.
