The 7th Adamawa State House of Assembly has presented a brand new Toyota Starlet to the Assembly’s Security Guard, Zira Kwaji, for his dedication and commitment.
Presenting the car keys to Zira during valedictory session of the Assembly on Friday, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, commended him for his dedication to duty.Rt. Hon. Iya Abbas, stated that the Assembly found it necessary to reward him considering his commitment to his official responsibility.
In his speech, he noted that Zira is the first person who opens and closes the Assembly complex, stating that the beneficiary is always on his post and urged others to emulate his diligence.
On his part, the member representing Yola North constituency, Hon. Hamidu Sajo Lekki, donated the sum of N100,000 to Zira to buy fuel and urged him not to relent in his good work.
In response to the kind gesture,Zira Kwaji, thanked the Speaker as well as the members of the house,Clerk to the Assembly for the beautiful gesture, and promised to continue to perform his duty diligently to the best of his ability.
