23 ARMOURED BRIGADE COMMANDER ASSURES CMD MUTH OF STRONGER RELATIONSHIP TIES

The Commander 23 Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Paul Zawaya has assured the Chief Medical Director (CMD) Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Prof. Adamu Bakari Girei of a continuous mutual relationship between the Brigade and the Health Center.

In a press release by the Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Lieutenant  Adebayo Samuel Adewumi of the headquarter 23  Brigade
noted  that the 23 Brg Commander made the assurance to the CMD MUTH on Tuesday 5 March 2024 when Prof Adamu Girei paid him a courtesy visit at the Headquarters 23 Armoured Brigade, Gibson Jalo Cantonment Yola.

Brig Gen PK Zawaya commended the hospital for attending to health cases from the Brigade quickly overtime. He thereby assured the CMD of the Brigades’ continuous support to the Health Center whenever the need arises. He however urged the CMD to quickly inform the Brigade of any security threat that may want to disrupt the peace of Adamawa State.

The CMD, Adama University Teaching Hospital Prof Adamu Girei while stating the purpose of his visit appreciated the efforts of the Brigade. He said the activities of the Brigade has ensured peace and tranquility in Adamawa state and ultimately the continuous existence of the hospital.

He appreciated the troops of the Brigade and the Nigerian Army at large for their unalloyed loyalty and sacrifices in a bit to ensure total peace of the Nation. He thereby assured the Brigade Commander of the willingness of the hospital to assist the Brigade anytime.

Present at the event were Chief of Staff HQ 23 Brigade Col IJ Etuk, staff officers of HQ 23 Brigade and entourage of the Chief Medical Director, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital.

The event was climaxed by the signing of visitor’s book, presentation of memento and group photograph.
