Adamawa Journalists Meet with New Police Commissioner

The Adamawa State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) recently conducted a courtesy visit to welcome the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris.

During the visit, NUJ Chairman Ishaku Donald Dedan extended his gratitude towards CP Morris for his approachability and pledged the support of the state’s journalists in aiding the police force through effective news dissemination to combat crime.

CP Morris, appreciating the efforts of the journalists, acknowledged their crucial role in highlighting the police’s accomplishments across various platforms. He encouraged further collaboration between the press and police to ensure a safer state environment.

Moreover, CP Morris reassured the journalists of his openness and emphasized that a symbiotic relationship with the media would enhance police operations.
