The Adamawa State Police Command has retrieved a stolen tricycle upon receiving information that the stolen tricycle was taken along Chochi Street, Rumde, Yola North.
The Command Public Relations Officer SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje revealed in a press statement that the police surveillance team attached to Jimeta Divisional Headquarters, were promptly deployed, luckily One Yusuf Adamu, 18 Years and Abdul Salam Abubakar, 18 years, all residents of various addresses were arrested while trying to sell the tricycle.
Nguroje noted that investigations so far reveal that the Tricycle was stolen by one yet to be arrested suspect and received by the suspects at hand.
Interestingly, One Mohammed Sani was traced to be the owner of the stolen Tricycle
The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris has commended the timely information from the public and assured of timely response to distress calls all the time.
