Former President Olusegun Obasanjo,(GCFR) has commissioned the just completed grade interchange flyover and underpass at the former Police roundabout, Jimeta, Yola North Adamawa State
Obasanjo loudly describe the project as an extraordinary bridge that will serve as the Adamawa Unity Center for the fact that it consists of an underpass Linking Galadima Amino Way to Justice Buba Ardu Road, a roundabout that distributes traffic to five roads and a Flyover that connects Atiku Abubakar way.
He expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the honor to commission what he said was a mega project since the creation of Adamawa State.
” My stay here in Yola prison for over Three years made a great impact in my life and I must say that my stay in the prison built me for those years made my performance as an elected president of Nigeria better than it could have been,” Obasanjo said
The former President emphasized on the Government to restore stability on security as he noted that our rural dwellers has departed their home town because of insecurity.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in his address at the commissioning calls on the good people of Adamawa to all enjoy the great works, As he
promises the good people Adamawa that better works are ahead according to him,his government is to ensure the transformation of the State.
