IGP Egbetokun Commissions Adamawa Police Headquarters, Strengthens Security Efforts

Adamawa State witnessed a major boost in security infrastructure as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, commissioned the newly constructed state-of-the-art Police Headquarters.
During the official visit, IGP Egbetokun emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and local communities to combat crime and enhance public safety nationwide.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to police reforms, the IGP highlighted ongoing efforts to equip officers with modern training, advanced technology, and better resources to tackle emerging security threats.
He also encouraged community participation in crime prevention, urging residents to share intelligence with law enforcement to improve policing efficiency.
Egbetokun noted that the newly commissioned facility would address long-standing office accommodation challenges, enhance operational efficiency, and provide a conducive working environment for officers. He stressed that a well-equipped and motivated police force is crucial to maintaining law and order.
