Adamawa Police Condemn Arson Attacks in Lamurde, Guyuk LGA

The Adamawa State Police Command has condemned two separate arson attacks that destroyed properties in Lafiya, Lamurde Local Government Area, and Boshikiri village in Guyuk Local Government Area.
The incidents, which occurred on 2nd July 2025, involved unidentified individuals who set fire to thatched huts, leading to the loss of properties belonging to Mrs. Ododumga Kenneth and Mr. Nura Haruna.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, directed a discreet investigation into the attacks and ordered immediate deployment of personnel to prevent further violence and apprehend the perpetrators.
Morris warned that anyone found inciting violence or engaging in criminal acts would face the full force of the law.
The Command appealed to residents to remain calm, cooperate with security agencies, and promptly report any suspicious activities.
