CHOBO–BACHAMA CLASH: CP DEPLOY’S OFFICERS TO RESTORE ORDER IN RIGANGE

The Adamawa State Police Command has recently deployed men and officers of the police force to Rigange Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa State to restore peace following the recent communal clash.
The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State, CP Dankombo Morris, PSC(+), has condemned the recent unrest involving members of the Chobo and Bachama Communities in Rigange, Lamurde Local Government Area.
The CP ordered immediate deployment of police personnel to the area to restore peace, order, and prevent further violence.
The Command Spokesperson SP Sulieman Yahaya Nguroje in a press statement detailed that the CP warns all individuals involved to desist from any act capable of breaching public peace, stressing that anyone found instigating violence will face the full weight of the law.
