Leadership Transition at RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command
By OjomaYusuf,Yola The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command on Tuesday, January 28, 2026, witnessed a formal handing over and taking over of duties following a change in leadership
The outgoing Sector Commander, Corps Commander Abdulmaliq Dama Bello, officially handed over the mantle of leadership to the newly posted Sector Commander, Corps Commander Sadiq A. Ibrahim, in line with directives from the National Headquarters of the FRSC.
During the ceremony, CC Bello briefed his successor on the overall operational status of the Command, covering key areas such as enforcement activities, personnel deployment, logistics, administration, challenges, and achievements recorded during his tenure. Relevant documents and official records were also handed over to ensure continuity of operations and effective command administration.
The outgoing Sector Commander expressed his appreciation to officers and men of the Command for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure and urged them to extend the same loyalty and commitment to the new Sector Commander.
In his remarks, the incoming Sector Commander, CC Sadiq A. Ibrahim, thanked his predecessor for the comprehensive briefing, in line with the FRSC’s modus operandi, and pledged to build on the existing achievements of the Command. He called on officers and men to remain disciplined, professional, and dedicated to their duties.
CC Ibrahim further unveiled a three-point agenda aimed at enhancing effective and efficient management of the Command and its component units. The agenda includes commitment to service, upholding discipline, and robust report rendition.
The handing over exercise was conducted peacefully and successfully, marking a smooth transition of leadership at the RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command.
