Police Arrest Two Over Killing of 25-Year-Old in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of a 25-year-old man, Friday Isah, in Mubi North Local Government Area.
According to a statement issued by the Command, the incident occurred during a birthday party in Digil Ward, where the suspects allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife before fleeing the scene.
Police operatives attached to the Mubi North Divisional Headquarters reportedly responded swiftly after receiving the report. The victim was rushed to a medical facility for treatment but was later confirmed dead by a doctor.
The suspects, identified as Samson Elisha, 19, and Ayuba Stephen, 21, both residents of Mubi North, have been taken into custody. Authorities say investigations are ongoing.
Reacting to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Kabir Umar Hassan, condemned the killing and directed the State Criminal Investigation Department to take over the case to ensure a thorough investigation and prosecution of those involved.
The Police Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order, urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security agencies.
