Labour Party, LP Local Government chairmen in Adamawa State has removed the state chairman of the party, Christopher Nicholas.The Party’s Local Government Chairmen, the Elders, the Stakeholders and Party members has pass a vote of no confidence in the leadership of Mr. Christopher Nicholas, as the Chairman of the Labour Party
18 out of the 21 local government chairmen of the Labour Party in Adamawa state gathered today at the capital, Yola, and made it clear that the state chairman and all his committee are incompetent move against the state chairman and all the other members of the state executive committee, accusing them of incompetence and financial instability.
The chairmen, led by the state Algon chairman of the LP Association of Local Government of Nigeria, Rev Iliya Mathias,who is doubled as the chairman of the party in Hong LGA,noted that the decision to remove Nicholas and members of his executive committee is as a result of incompetency and incapability of managing the affairs of the of the party in the state.
The Adamawa LG chairmen announced a seven-member state caretaker committee.
They named Hon Theman Jonah as the caretaker chairman, with Apwanokona Azmaveth as secretary.
Aliyu Mohammed Abubakar is treasurer; Henry Kwataden, PRO; Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, woman leader; Kamalludeen Aliyu, youth leader; and Auwal Chiroma, member.
Reacting to the impeachment of the party chairman, Apostle Ezra Kwaya, who had been the state organizing secretary of the Labour Party, revoted to the move against the entire state exco.

Speaking to the press Kwaya, noted that the removal the state party leadership came as a surprise as the local government chairmen of the party had never made any written complaint meanwhile the decision is taken while the Chairman is not in town.
