Adamawa Police, Government Strengthen Ties to Boost Public Safety

The Commissioner of Police in Adamawa State, Kabir Umar Hassan, has paid a courtesy visit to the State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, at the Government House in Yola.

The visit, which forms part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between security agencies and the state government, saw the Commissioner accompanied by members of his management team, including senior officers of the Command.

During the meeting, Kabir Umar Hassan expressed appreciation to the governor for his continued support to the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies operating in the state. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to reinforcing the state’s security architecture, improving public safety, and advancing community policing initiatives across Adamawa.

In his response, Governor Fintiri congratulated the police chief on his appointment and officially welcomed him to the state. He assured the Commissioner of the government’s sustained support and cooperation in safeguarding lives and property.

The governor also stressed the need for strong synergy among security stakeholders to effectively address emerging security challenges in the state.

The statement was issued by Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Command, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.
