The Nigeria Union of Journalists( NUJ) Adamawa State council has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Adamawa State,Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration.
The Union also congratulated the Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Bathiya Wesley and Honourable members, the Lamido Adamawa, Alhaji Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha(Ph.D), Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, Permanent Secretaries, all it’s members and the good people of Adamawa State, a joyous and prosperous sallah celebration.
As the Eid -el- Kabir usually comes with great lessons, the sacrifice is not only for spiritual fulfilment but also for the progress of mankind and development of our society.
It is also worthy to note that the symbolic Islamic festival comes with great and unlimited rewards when the faithful practice with long-lasting faith as demonstrated by Holy Prophet Abraham.
People of the state should emphatically draw lessons of love and forgiveness by propagating same for harmonious coexistence.
In the spirit of the season, the Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan, Council as well as the entire members of our great union join the Muslim ummah in the State to share in the Felicity of this historic festival of sacrifice.
May Almighty Allah bring to us good tidings.
