Troops welfare is my priority-Acting commander Sector 4 OPHK

The Acting Commander Sector 4 Operation Hadin Kai/ Commander 23 Brigade (Ag Comd Sect 4 OPHK/Comd 23 Bde) Brigadier General Amechi Agwu has reiterated his commitment to troops’ welfare, promising to do everything possible to better the lives of the troops and their families.
Brigadier General Agwu stated this during the courtesy visit of the state Manager, Adamawa/Taraba States, Defence Health Management Organization (DHMO), Hajiya Rakiya Yegmi to Headquarters 23 Brigade (HQ 23 Bde) on Tuesday 20 January, 2026.
The Ag Comd Sect 4 OPHK/Comd 23 Bde thanked the State Manager of the DHMO for finding time to visit the HQ 23 Bde, assuring her of the support of the Sector/Brigade.
He added that the Sector/Brigade would work with the DHMO on the sensitization of the troops on the scheme to maximize all opportunities available in the scheme and to strengthen the synergy between the Sector and the organization.
Speaking during the visit, the State Manager of the DHMO commended the Sector/Brigade for its cooperation and support towards the activities of the DHMO in Adamawa State.
Hajiya Yegmi said registration of troops and their families into the DHMO through 23 Brigade Medical Centre has been a huge success, adding that enrolled have been expressing their happiness on the services rendered to them at the Brigade medical facility. She called for a continued support of the Sector/Brigade towards actualization of the DHMO’s mandate.
